Assessment and Testing
The Assessment & Testing Center provides testing services, including test administration of the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Assessment for college placement and for TSI requirements, College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), General Educational Development (GED) testing, and Alamo Colleges District makeup/distance examinations (with instructor approval and Testing Center acknowledgment).
Testing is by appointment only. Students are limited to one testing appointment per day; students taking TSI or CLEP must bring a valid photo ID and a printed copy of the payment receipt to the appointment. All testing fees are non-refundable.
If you have questions, please call (210) 486-3444 during regular business hours or by email at pac-testcenter@7672049.com . Students who need help to make an appointment for distance/makeup tests should contact their instructor for arrangements. Due to the high seat demand, students with appointments will have priority.

Texas law requires students to complete assessments in reading, writing, and mathematics before enrolling in college. The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) mandates that any new undergraduate student entering a public institution must be assessed for readiness to enroll in college coursework.
